Who We Are
Hello, my name is William Helps, and I've been a tire technician since 2013. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working all across British Columbia, Canada. From fast-paced retail tire shops to remote commercial service truck operations where you might drive nine hours just to repair a single tire.
No matter where I've worked, one thing has always stood out to me. The tire industry is the underdog of the automotive world.
Despite the skill, sacrifice, and responsibility our job demands, we're often overlooked. Yet without tire technicians, nothing moves. Every vehicle, every business, every emergency response, and every supply chain depends on what we do.
We keep the world moving.
That's why I created The Rolling Guard (TRG)—a brand and a community built by tire techs, for tire techs.
TRG is for the technicians who start before sunrise and don't make it home until long after dark when the snow starts falling. It's for the ones who answer the phone at 2:00 a.m. and head out to the side of a highway to get a transport truck back on the road. It's for the people who show up when everyone else is counting on them.
We're the ones who keep farmers harvesting, loggers working, construction crews building, miners producing, truck drivers delivering, emergency responders responding, taxi drivers driving, delivery drivers delivering, teachers getting to school, doctors getting to the hospital, and even the person handing you your coffee at the drive-thru getting to work.
When the world needs to keep moving, it starts with us.
At TRG, we see you, we see the long hours, the physical demands, the pressure to get the job done, and the sacrifices you make to provide for your family. We know this profession can be tough—not just on your body, but on your mind as well.
That's why The Rolling Guard is about more than apparel. It's about building a community where tire technicians know they're valued, respected, and never standing alone.
We're proud to commit 10% of all profits to supporting men's mental health because no one should have to carry the weight of this job by themselves. Together, we can help raise awareness, support those who are struggling, and give back to the people who spend their lives keeping everyone else moving.
